The tree view's sophisticated visual system uses distinct icons to display allow/deny and inheritance status simultaneously.

Select any folder or security principal in the permissions tree to view detailed information. Group nodes can be expanded to reveal group members, providing visibility into nested permissions. This feature is particularly valuable for understanding how users might gain access through group membership chains, instantly highlighting potential security gaps that would otherwise remain hidden.
